Under his supervision, Neuro-Link has become an international organization with licensed business partners and practitioners across the world, empowering thousands to optimize their performance.

He is a thought leader in the neuroscience of learning.Developing people makes his heart sing. Helping captains of industry move performance forward in order to achieve their business results and out-think, out-learn, out-create and out-perform their competition, is his passion.

Dr. Andrè Vermeulen is regarded an individual of extraordinary ability in the field of the neurophysiological aspect of personality, drivers that optimize brain performance and brain fitness. This is illustrated in the unique Learning Receptiveness Profile™ that he has developed. This brain profile assessment is a neuroscientific, multi-dimensional assessment that identifies 6 drivers that optimize brain performance and 7 factors that make up a person’s neurological design. It is the most comprehensive brain profile assessment that exists, as it assesses all the primary factors that influence brain performance and learning receptivity. There are different LRP’s™ for different age groups.

Dr. Andrè Vermeulen has been an executive coach to Kings & Queens of Africa and captains of industry, mental coach to beauty pageants like Miss Modern Women and Miss South Africa and sports icons.

André has developed various brain-based learning and development programs and learning solutions, which was received with accolades in the international market place. He has published more than 30 leading articles in magazines and newspapers in Taiwan, Japan, Dubai,Germany, USA, South Africa, and Costa Rica, such as Oprah,Management TodayProductivityHR FutureRugby News and People Dynamics, on the subject of brain-based learning and development. He is considered one of the most recognized authorities on the learning and developmental implications of the brain in the world.

André has conducted many pilot studies with various companies and organizations across the world, of which mention was made in international publications.

He has gained stature and credibility as an international motivational trainer and speaker in the field of brain-based learning and development, which evolved into the neuroscience of learning. Dr. André Vermeulen has presented papers at more than 40 international conferences. For more than 18 years, he has presented talks and workshops on popular platforms like TEDX and at the International ATD Conference and Exposition, the International Alliance for Learning and Emotional Intelligence conferences in numerous countries worldwide. Evaluations at ATD in past years place him in the top 10% of world class presenters.

Dr. André Vermeulen is the author of Tick Tock This Makes Your Brain Rock. The purpose of this book is to be a quick user guide to simple brain fitness activities that anyone can do to cope with the demands of the 21st century. It is your go-to guide if you are feeling lethargic, slow, and anxious or stressed out.

Furthermore he has been included and recognized as an Honored Member in Stanford Who’s Who “Black Book” as a result of his outstanding professional career. He has also been recognized by Golden Key International as an Honorary Member and Keynote speaker. André has routinely displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best in the field of the neuroscience of workplace learning and development industry.

Dr. André Vermeulen is the developer of several unique neuroscience assessments and learning solutions to help people and organizations move their performance forward. The Learning Receptiveness Profile™ he developed, is the point of departure for any talent selection, talent development and performance improvement initiatives of Neuro-Link.

Conceptualizing both the 6 drivers that optimize brain performance and the 7 factors that impact a person’s neurological design has never been included in any personality assessment. Until now, there has not been sufficient research done regarding the neurophysiology of personality, but most importantly, there has not been sufficient research regarding the practical aspects of the neurophysiology and how it correlates and validates personality in the workplace.

The assessment that Dr. Vermeulen developed, fills a gap in the talent development and performance improvement industry. Dr. Vermeulen is the only expert in terms of linking neurological design to behavior and personalities in the work place through the comprehensive assessment that he has developed.

Until now there has not been a more comprehensive assessment to illustrate the neurophysiological aspects of personality. Except for Dr. Vermeulen’s assessment, there is not an assessment that exists in today’s market that can accurately measure, in such a holistic manner, the drivers that optimize brain performance. This component of the assessment is crucial to helping people improve their brain health and mental performance. More importantly, is the fact that these drivers will influence the neurodesign and particularly how a person process information and their risk for human error profoundly.

A very unique aspect of the drivers that optimize performance is brain fitness. Although the term has very popularly been used, scientific conceptualization of what the concept entails and the physiological mechanisms that determine a person’s brain fitness has never been formulated in such a scientific/academic way. The novel conceptualization of this driver and the impact it has on performance has never been included in personality assessments or performance improvement assessments and solutions.

The next component that also lacks existence in the market, is the 7 factors that impact a person’s neurological design (referred to as neurodesign). Again, conceptualizing this novel concept and the mechanisms that determine a person’s neurological design brings a complete new perspective to the neurophysiological aspects of personality and understanding people, potential and performance optimization. These factors have never been included in any personality assessment in such a comprehensive way. Therefore, what makes this section of the assessment so immensely valuable is that it helps to accurately determine people’s learning potential, which plays a crucial role in talent selection and talent development. This assessment is a powerful tool in the hands of people development professionals in various fields like talent selection, talent development, performance improvement, workplace engagement, happiness and wellness.

A very important aspect of the novel instrument that Dr. Vermeulen has developed, that forms part of people’s neurodesign is how the combination of dominant brain hemisphere, eye, ear and hand may lead to people experiencing neurological hindrances during stress and fatigue and may lead to an increase in human error, incidents, accidents and even fatalities in the workplace. This aspect of identifying potential for human error and how to reduce it, is groundbreaking for any industry where people are doing dangerous jobs, operating dangerous machinery, vehicles or tools. It will significantly contribute to saving lives, optimize performance, and increase productivity. This concept is already being received with accolades in industries like defense, mining, manufacturing and oil and gas

In summary, Dr. André Vermeulen as a pioneer with regards to the following concepts and approaches in the LRP™ that he developed, that can’t be found in other psychometrical instruments:

* The Neurophysiological conceptualization of brain fitness and its mechanisms

* Conceptualization of the drivers that influence brain performance

* Conceptualization of neurological dominance and its impact on a person’s neurodesign

* Conceptualization of the factors that determine a person’s neurodesign

* How a person’s neurodesign can influence their risk for human error and performance

* The interplay between the drivers that impact brain performance and neurodesign

* The LRP™ provides a new framework for identifying potential, developing talent, improving performance, promoting   brain health and reducing risk for human error like never before.

* The 12 Emotional Intelligence Competencies Profile™ is another  assessment that Dr. Vermeulen developed to illustrate the competence of people with regards to the world class emotional intelligence framework that Neuro-Link use to optimize performance and develop talent.
